Apple Raisin Cereal Swirls
Mix & Layer Breakfasts
2 breakfast bowls · Active 6 min · Total 6 min
Applesauce can become a stripe through yogurt rather than disappearing into it. These bowls use one slow turn of the spoon to make a swirl, then finish with raisins and cereal. Every scoop has a slightly different balance.

Let’s make it

The skill you’re learning
A swirl needs fewer strokes than a mixture. Stop while you can still see two colors; stirring longer blends them into one.
Try one change
Replace the raisins with 2 tbsp ready-chopped dried dates.
Serving & storing
Refrigerate covered at 40°F or below within 2 hours of preparation (1 hour above 90°F); use within 1 day. Add the cereal only when ready to eat.
