Cheddar Drop Biscuits
Bake Together
10 biscuits · Active 15 min · Total 40 min
Drop biscuits need no rolling pin or sharp cutter. Two spoons make little mounds, and cold butter gives them a tender crumb. Keep the cheese evenly mixed so each biscuit gets some.

Before you begin · grown-up check

- Adult heats oven to 425°F, cubes butter and lines a cold tray.
Ages are a starting guide. A grown-up checks your readiness and stays nearby. Follow the actor label on every step.

One spoon scoops dough and the other pushes it off. Spacing the mounds lets hot air reach their sides.
Try one change
Use finely shredded Monterey Jack in the same amount instead of cheddar.
